Kodela Sivaprased, Andhra Pradesh State Assembly Speaker, recently announced that assembly sessions will kick-start from March 5th. Also, AP State Finance Minister Yanamala Ramakrishnudu stated that State Budget will be introduced in the State Assembly on March 8th, in a press meet.
Chief Minister Chandrababu Naidu will once again check the proposed-budget, before it is introduced in the Assembly, on March 8th.
It’s intriguing to know whether the TDP government will shower sops in the name of ‘welfare schemes’ or will stick to ‘development’ mantra by allotting funds to infrastructure development.
On the other hand, political analysts stated that the upcoming 2018 – 2019 State Budget will be a fascinating one in the wake of 2019 Assembly elections. Moreover, Finance Minister Ramakrishnudu has already hosted multiple conferences with concerned officials and Cabinet Ministers while drafting the budget.
Concurrently, the upcoming budget is likely to give a clear idea about TDP’s political line up, and its strategies during the election campaigning for the 2019 elections.
