Prime Minister Narendra Modi, along with his co-workers in the Bharatiya Janata Party, tried to delude and trick the Telugu Desam Party MPs in Lok Sabha all over again. MPs who were thriving hard to gain justice for the state has been intervened by Modi’s tactics.
Just prior to Modi’s speech in Lok Sabha, Union home minister Rajnath Singh phoned TDP president Chandrababu Naidu in Vijayawada. He asked him to check his party MPs who are disrupting the proceedings in Lok Sabha. He further said to stop their agitation during the speech of the Prime Minister.
Rajnath convinced that Modi is very supportive about the issue and will address few of the favorable points that might benefit Andhra. He said PM will also mention bifurcation issues in his speech.
His words raised instant hopes and Chandrababu Naidu has suggested his ignited MPs to go back to their seats until Modi’s speech. Each one of them eagerly looked forward for the PM to talk on bifurcation problems.
To their surprise, Modi hardly spoke on it and it was rather disappointing. Modi spoke on undemocratic bifurcation by blaming Congress and also tried to appease the TDP by raising the self-respect issue. He neither spoke on special category status nor promises made under AP Bifurcation Act.
Once again, BJP has cheated the TDP. However, the YSRC MPs said that they already knew what Modi would speak and hence walked out even before his speech.
