The story is all about how the hero convinces heroine’s father for the marriage, how he solves the issue between Telugites-Tamilians and what the reason behind the division.

Naga Shourya’s 15th film, Chalo, gave him massive fan-following. The sole reason is his improved body language. He looked much better than his previous films and he’s well-suited for the character in the film. His performance looked natural with no odds to point out. Apart from that, he definietly looked stylish with handsome looks.

Rashmika Mandanna, with her debut in Telugu, proved to be talented actress. Her expressions are impressive. Satya did justice in a comic role and his scenes are funny. Vennela Kishore stole the show in a cameo. Posani, Raghubabu and Naresh have done decent and flawless jobs. Other actors like Praveen, Viva Harsha and Sudarshan stood as a backbone with supporting performances.

The plot is simple but has been presented well. The comedy in the film is top-notch and it’s been a while we experience such a quality hilarity. Very few parts in the second half were boring.

Music by Mahati Swara Sagar is a highlight and all songs were melodious.Cinematography is good. Dialogues are outstanding. Production values are impressive. Overall, the film is superlative compared to many recent releases.

Plus points :

Naga Shaurya performance

Hilarious Comedy

Interval scene

Vennela Kishore

Production Values

Minus points :

Second half few boring parts

Predictable scenes

Chalo is a comedy-entertainer which will leave you in laugh riot. The film portrays director’s sense of humor. The story will get its upliftment once Tiruppuram comes into the scene. The concept of love story with fights in between is routine but director managed it to look as entertaining as possible.

Film-makers gave a clever humor without disturbing the sentiments of Telugu and Tamil people. Coming to the screenplay, it didn’t impress much and romance scenes couldn’t connect well. Interval scene is one of the strengths for the film and has been well executed.

First half is engaging with excellent comedy. Second half will lag at some places but Vennela Kishore saves the film at timely situations. Climax is eccentric and it will leave many in a weird feel. Most of the songs have made the justice.

Verdict :

It’s a family entertainer with no obscene language or dialogues. Everyone irrespective of their age can watch and enjoy the film thoroughly. Though the film lack few elements it has been well wrapped with cinematic sensibilities. Ignoring few flaws aside, go and watch the film for the comedy and it won’t disappoint you!
