Chandrababu may attend swearing-in ceremony of Kumaraswamy

Speculations have been around that Telugu Desam Party may join hands with the Congress in near future but, Chandrababu Naidu is unperturbed about the news and in fact, is expected to attend the swearing-in of H D Kumaraswamy as the Chief Minister of Karnataka.

Chandrababu Naidu’s cabinet colleagues told that he may attend the ceremony as Naidu is pretty close to Devegowda, who is the former PM.

Moreover, Naidu received an invitation from Kumaraswamy and he said the same to TDP ministers in a teleconference.

“Chandrababu Naidu should attend the swearing-in ceremony as it will send the right signals,” said ministers. Naidu too responded positively for the invitation.

It is known that TDP had close ties with JD(S) and Naidu’s role in making Deve Gowda the prime minister in 1997.
