KCR to meet Mamata today; BJP in trouble

Telangana Chief Minister K Chandrashekhar Rao will have a meeting with West Bengal CM Mamata Banerjee at her office, in Kolkata today. The meeting will happen around 4 pm amid efforts to form a formidable non-BJP front of opposition parties ahead of the vital 2019 Parliamentary poll.

The meeting is said to be an important one as KCR has recently poured the idea of forming a “Third front” against BJP and the Congress for 2019 general election. On March 4th, Mamata spoke to KCR on phone and expressed her support on his decision of entering national politics.

Moreover, Mamata Banerjee, who is also Trinamool Congress (TMC) chief, is playing an important role in bringing together opposition parties against the BJP-led NDA to throw them out of power in the coming national poll.

On the other hand, Mamata is likely to ask KCR’s decision on TDP’s No-Confidence Motion against Modi. And, KCR is yet to announce TRS MPs support to TDP.

As KCR earlier said that he would meet all the like-minded parties and people and discuss the country’s growth, this meeting is probably about the same.
