Prince Harry guest edited BBC Radio 4’s Today programme. He chiefly concentrated on the armed forces, mental health, youth crime and climate change. Prince interviewed his father, Prince Charles, and former US president Barack Obama, as part of the radio show.
Obama focused on irresponsible usage of Social Media and how it misinforms people inevitably. While Prince Charles spoke on climate changes and how it is affects us in the long run.
The former president, Obama, expressed concern on people who only read things that reinforce their current biases. He sounded worried on facts being discarded. He focused on the future changes of technology to help allow a diversity of views and avoid Balkanization of society.
On the other hand, Donald Trump has been accused of being a Twitter-addict. Obama says though it is important to connect with people of same interests, it is also vital to go offline, meet people and socialize.
On asking about leaving office, he said, “It concerns all the work that was still undone and about how the country moves forward but, you know, overall there was serenity there,”
